Pre/Pro Appointment Checklis

To ensure a smooth appointment experience, we have put together a list of recommendations and expectations for both before and after your appointment. Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions.

Before the Appointment:

  • Please reserve a parking spot near your door for our van to ensure easy access.

  • We will require an accessible water and electricity sources to connect to our professional carpet cleaning equipment.

  • To maximize the cleaning area, you can clear as much as possible from the areas you want cleaned before our arrival. For larger items that are too heavy or have breakables stacked on them, we will typically work around them.

  • Please remove all breakable items from the areas to be cleaned, as well as from hallways/staircases leading to those areas, to minimize the risk of damage.

  • If your carpets have pet hair or lint, please give them a thorough dry vacuuming before our arrival or we can vacuum it. Lint and hair can attach to carpets/upholstery, making it difficult to remove without an agitating vacuum with a spinning bristle bar.

  • To optimize cleaning results, please inform us during the pre-job walk-through of any stains and the substances that were spilled, so that we can apply the appropriate cleaning agents for pre-treatment.

  • Please secure any pets away from the areas we will be cleaning. We will be pre-spraying a detergent before the deep cleaning process begins, and the door will be slightly open to allow our hoses into room. If you have an indoor pet, please place them in a safe location to prevent them from accidentally getting outside.

 

After the Appointment:

  • Once we have completed the cleaning, the average drying times for carpets/upholstery range from 4-8 hours, and for materials that hold more moisture, it can take up to 24 hours. Please avoid placing wooden or metal objects on wet areas until they are completely dry to prevent color transfer.

  • Make sure you have good airflow for areas where carpet/upholstery wet. You can open windows, turn on fans or rent a air movers from us (15$ each per day). If carpet stays wet more than 24 hours with out airflow if would create odour.

  • Be cautious when walking from wet carpets to tile/laminate flooring as your feet may be slippery. Please be mindful of potential hazards until all areas are completely dry, and try to minimize walking on carpets until they are dry.

  • If a stain that was successfully removed by us reappears after drying, please do not worry. Just give us a call within 48 hours, and we will return free of charge to address the issue. Our work is satisfaction guaranteed!
